The five primary outputs
Put these side by side at the reset, not into a new score.
Record the source-home result for each model. During Days 85 through 90, mark Current or Gap, choose exactly two gaps, then give each selected gap one action, one owner, and one date.
Required output: Expendability total and highest exposure factor. Put the supporting Cost-or-Leverage, AI Exposure, and Protection Audit evidence below it; select two vulnerabilities to repair first.
Required output: One lawful firebreak: portability inventory, first unresolved access gap assigned, and next maintenance date. Conditionally add PIP response posture and next permitted action.
The master inventory
Find the artifact that belongs to the current problem.
The five models are the system. The nineteen artifacts support them. Record only a result you have actually completed; open the source chapter tool whenever you need the full working version.
Reveals whether the people above you see you as someone who generates value or someone who consumes budget, so you can reposition before a restructuring makes the decision for you.
Find the weak layer left exposed after Chapter 3 shows you where the pressure is coming from. This is a second look at the same risk, not a second system.
Compose the five governing-model outputs without creating a competing score system.
Complete relocated forms
The four full forms behind the shorter chapter views.
These forms belong here because Chapters 4, 5, 7, and 9 keep shorter working views. Their source chapters remain the place to make sense of the result.
Chapter 4 · Organizational Exposure
Protection Audit
Score all fifteen questions from 1 to 5. A 1 means a significant gap. A 5 means you are well-positioned. Average the three answers in each dimension, then add the five dimension averages.
Visibility to Leadership: 1 means nobody above your manager is likely to notice. 5 means a senior leader has named the problem or priority.
Political Safety: 1 means the work could cross authority or create enemies. 5 means the work fits your authority and threatens nobody.
Revenue/Risk Connection: 1 means minor convenience. 5 means a clear connection to money, quality, operations, or material risk.
Speed to Results: 1 means no visible progress for more than a year. 5 means a useful first result within thirty days.
X-axis: average of Visibility to Leadership and Revenue/Risk Connection. Y-axis: average of Political Safety and Speed to Results.

Top-right: high reward and high safety. Pursue.
Bottom-right: high reward and high risk. Proceed only with explicit manager support and an early visible result.
Top-left: lower reward and high safety. Use for skill building, not major career capital.
Bottom-left: low reward and high risk. Avoid.
Chapter 7 · Decision-Maker Value
First 20 Tasks to Hand AI
Use only an employer-approved tool and only information authorized for that environment. Do not paste restricted company, client, employee, regulated, privileged, or proprietary material into an unapproved system. Check every factual claim, number, citation, assumption, and outbound message yourself.
Decode a vague executive request into the request, deadline, constraints, and unresolved questions.
Reduce an authorized report, policy update, or transcript to one page with three important takeaways.
Turn authorized meeting notes into a structured summary with actions and owners.
Convert an authorized project plan into a checklist with deadlines and missing dependencies.
Analyst
Inspect a questionable figure and produce possible drivers plus a validation plan. Treat every driver as a hypothesis until checked.
Identify patterns in an approved dataset and write the test required to validate each pattern.
Build a one-page competitor update from cited public sources. Open and verify every source before relying on it.
Compare three authorized or public industry articles. Separate shared trends, disagreements, and unsupported assertions.
Editor
Rewrite a difficult email for professionalism while keeping the actual boundary intact.
Simplify a complex explanation for a nonexpert without changing the underlying facts.
Cut a slide-deck narrative to half its length without losing the argument or evidence.
Rewrite a self-assessment in executive outcome language without inventing scope, credit, or results.
Tutor
Explain an unfamiliar concept at executive and practitioner levels, then identify authoritative sources for verification.
Teach the basics of a company tool from approved documentation and flag steps that require internal confirmation.
Create a five-question quiz for an upcoming presentation or review, then compare your answers with verified material.
Turn authorized meeting notes into a study guide of key decisions, reasons, owners, and implications.
Sounding Board
Rehearse a difficult manager conversation using a generalized or permitted scenario. Test several phrasings without surrendering the point.
Generate several hypotheses about a confusing political situation. Treat them as possibilities, not facts or permission to seek restricted information.
Argue both sides of a possible career move and list the unknowns that would change the decision.
Review an unsent email from a senior executive’s perspective and identify accidental signals, ambiguity, and likely questions.
Chapter 9 · Career Portability
Narrative Strength Test
Score each question 0, 1, or 2. Add the ten answers for a maximum of 20.
Under 10: rewrite. 10 through 14: sharpen. 15 through 17: strong. 18 or higher: ready for pressure.
Read the combined pattern
Use combinations to route action, not to predict a decision.
A single result identifies a gap. A combination can show how gaps reinforce one another.
Hidden Asset
Your Expendability total is under 14, but your Protection Audit is under 15. The work appears defensible while the advocacy and visibility around it remain weak. Use the Manager Dependency Map, Value Translation Worksheet, and Sponsor Map to make existing value easier to carry into a decision room.
Immediate Exposure
Your Expendability total is 22 or higher, and the Manager Dependency Map misses one or more target ratings. The role looks exposed, and your manager lacks a clean defense. Reduce the highest Expendability factor while improving one manager pain point without creating political risk.
Comfortable Fragility
Internal results look strong, but employment still supplies the household’s critical cash flow and portable options remain untested. Run the Household Income Risk Audit and Optionality Calendar. Use the Side Income Filter only for a path that clears the required agreement, policy, disclosure, and conflict review.
Quarterly use: Chapter 15 owns the cadence. During Days 85 through 90, put the five primary outputs beside the prior cycle and choose two gaps. Don’t rerun nineteen artifacts because the calendar developed feelings. Rerun only the tools affected by a manager change, reorganization, strategy shift, household change, new AI workflow, or another condition that actually changed.
